Why This Policy Exists

Fishrift is a creator platform priced to be accessible for individual creators and small teams. To keep the platform fast, reliable, and affordable for everyone, we ask that all users stay within reasonable limits for their plan. This policy defines what "reasonable" means.

Storage Limits

Storage counts all files in your media library: images, GIFs, videos, and audio files used in your overlays and alerts.

What happens when you approach your limit

• At 80%: a warning appears in your dashboard and via Sonar
• At 95%: you receive an email notification
• At 100%: you cannot upload new files. Existing files and overlays continue to work normally.

We will never silently delete your files. You will receive a warning via email and Sonar before any action is taken on storage issues.

Bot and Automation Limits

The Fishrift bot is designed for normal streaming activity. Fair use means:

• Commands are triggered by real viewers, not automated scripts
• Timers fire at reasonable intervals (minimum 1 minute)
• The bot does not send more than 100 messages per minute in any channel
• Loyalty point automation is used for genuine viewer rewards, not to manipulate platform metrics

Automated scripts that artificially inflate viewer counts, loyalty balances, sub counts, or any other metrics are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination.

API Usage

Fishrift does not currently offer a public API. Use of Fishrift's internal API endpoints via automated tools, scrapers, or bots (other than the Fishrift platform itself) is not permitted without prior written authorisation from Fishrift.

Bandwidth and Delivery

Fishrift overlays run as browser sources in OBS and similar software. Fair use means:

• Overlays are used for streaming purposes, not as a general-purpose media hosting or delivery service
• You do not embed Fishrift overlay URLs in high-traffic public websites in ways that generate significant bandwidth unrelated to streaming
• Media files are reasonably optimized — excessively large unoptimized files that materially impact platform performance for other users may be flagged

What We Will Never Do

• Silently delete your files or overlays without warning
• Degrade the performance of your overlays without notice
• Change your plan's limits without honouring the Grandfathering Guarantee described in the Terms of Service

Enforcement

If we believe your usage falls outside this policy:

1. We will contact you first via email and Sonar to explain the concern
2. We will give you a reasonable period (at least 7 days) to resolve the issue
3. If the issue continues, we may apply temporary restrictions or initiate an account review

We do not apply automated enforcement without human review for accounts in good standing.
