Fishrift — Cookie Policy

Last updated: 18 July 2026

What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the website remember your preferences and activity. Fishrift uses a minimal set of cookies — we do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies of any kind.

Cookies We Use

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are required for Fishrift to function. They cannot be disabled. No consent is required under Dutch law (Artikel 11.7a Telecommunicatiewet).

Analytics

Fishrift does not use third-party analytics cookies. We use Cloudflare Analytics, a privacy-preserving, server-side analytics tool that does not set cookies and does not track individual users across websites.

No advertising cookies

Fishrift is ad-free. We set no advertising cookies, retargeting cookies, or any cookies used to track you across other websites.

Third-Party Cookies

When you connect third-party services (Twitch, Stripe), those services may set their own cookies during the OAuth or payment flow. These are governed by those services' own cookie policies:

  • Twitch: twitch.tv/p/en/legal/cookie-policy
  • Stripe: stripe.com/cookie-settings

These cookies are only active during the connection flow and are not under Fishrift's control.

Managing Cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and Site Permissions

Note: disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from logging into Fishrift.

Your Rights Under Dutch Law

Under Artikel 11.7a Telecommunicatiewet (implementation of the ePrivacy Directive in the Netherlands), you have the right to be informed about cookies before they are placed, except for strictly necessary cookies.

Because Fishrift only uses strictly necessary cookies and functional cookies controlled through your own preferences, we do not show a cookie consent banner — there is nothing to consent to beyond what is strictly required for the service to work.

Changes to This Policy

We will update this policy when our cookie usage changes. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
